Naomi Korn Copyright Consultancy has developed a broad portfolio of copyright training modules in conjunction with a number of professional bodies across the Public Sector covering a wide range of relevant topics. These are currently being run across the country.

Naomi Korn and her Associate Bernard Horrocks are approved Collections Trust (formerly the MDA) trainers and work closely with the Collections Trust in order to provide modular workshops in the fundamentals of copyright for those who work with and/or own collections. Their training portfolio includes:

• The popular Copyright Essentials full day training workshop, aimed at staff with little or no knowledge about copyright providing them with the tools to deal with copyright on a daily basis.
• A new half day Introduction to Copyright workshop, aimed at introducing all staff to their roles and responsibilities towards copyright and other related rights.
• Copyright Policies full day training workshop, providing an opportunity for professionals working within the sector to receive formal training on the importance of copyright policies, risk management and the development of strategies to deal with infringements. It also provides them with the tools to help them develop a suitable policy for their organisation.
• Brand new Copyright and the Web full day training workshop aimed at providing comprehensive training relating to the latest developments in the Web and associated rights issues. Topics include: licensing in a web environment, user generated content and arising rights issues, open source licences and Creative Commons Licences.
• Copyright Exploitation full day training workshop aimed at providing an overview of rights clearance strategies, as well as exploring methods and opportunities associated with making money from copyright.
